Bob Minner

Bob Minner

As of 2022, Bob Minner has been playing music all but five years of his 56 years. Starting on banjo at age 5, he quickly moved on to guitar and other instruments such as fiddle, mandolin, and dobro by his early teens. He has placed twice in the National Flatpicking Championships in 1986 and 1987, as well as numerous guitar, banjo, and fiddle contests in his home state of Missouri.

For the past thirty years, he has served as the acoustic guitarist and longest acting band member for country icon Tim McGraw. As a bluegrass songwriter, he has had numerous cuts by bands such as Volume Five, Dailey & Vincent, Blue Highway, and many others.

As a solo artist, he has released three solo albums as well as a tribute to his flatpicking hero Norman Blake entitled “From Sulphur Springs To Rising Fawn – The Songs of Norman Blake” on Englehardt Records.

As for CAD products, Bob had this to say: “We live in a world of increasing home studio environments, of which I have one where I do a lot of work, which has raised the bar on creativity. CAD microphones and headphones offer an outstanding quality to affordability which lets artists capture their inspiration without compromise.”
