Bjorn Englen

In 1994 Swedish born Bjorn Englen became the bass player for multi-platinum QUIET RIOT. He toured with guitar icon YNGWIE MALMSTEEN from 2007-2012, and has since 2011 been playing with both Scorpions guitar legend ULI JON ROTH and virtuoso TONY MACALPINE resulting in concurrently working with three of the biggest guitar gods of all time! Bjorn is a member of DIO DISCIPLES featuring longtime Dio members plus Judas Priest vocalist Ripper Owens. His group SOUL SIGN, which includes Ted Nugent vocalist Mark Boals, has toured US and Europe and is working on a second album, and he recently joined the new power metal group BLACKWELDER which has reached top of the charts in several countries. Bjorn has done clinics & master classes worldwide, worked with MSG/Survivor vocalist ROBIN McAULEY, HELLION and recorded with members of Elton John, AC/DC, Heart, The Supremes, Dream Theater, Alice Cooper, Sweet, Heaven & Hell and Paul Rodgers. Englen is a sought after session bassist who has performed on over 50 albums and played nearly 2000 live shows.
