Robert Hubbard

Robert L. Hubbard Jr. is known for his diverse style of music consisting of Jazz, Gospel, R & B and Rock. Hubbard is a gifted and respected drummer, producer and instructor. He began his preparatory studies at the Cleveland Music Settlement and was later accepted into the Cleveland School of the Arts (CSA) . After graduating CSA, Robert attended Jarvis Christian College in Texas. Robert began his music career playing with local artists through out Greater Cleveland. His touring and performing career also consisted of him playing for such artists as Changing Faces, Gerald Albright, Kirk Whalum, Sean Jones, Conya Doss, Keke Wyatt, Syleena Johnson, David Garfield, George Benson, Angela Bofill , Alex Bugnon, R. Kelly, Nelson Rangel and Ellis Marsalis to name a few. He is currently Tour with his own band Hubb’s Groove witch he founded in 2006. Was selected as 2019 Best of Cleveland in Band and won best Jazz group Cleveland Music Awards 2022
