The Astatic GN14-HL is a dual impedance, omnidirectional dynamic desk microphone offering modern styling and features in a rugged housing for all industrial and commercial public address and paging applications. The GN14-HL has a slide switch for low or high impedance selection, and features a PTT button which can be locked for an “always on” mode, or lift-to-talk operation, which can be disabled via a slide switch located under the microphone base. The heavy-duty 14” gooseneck is flexible enough to be positioned exactly where it is needed, yet rugged enough to stay in place even in challenging environments. Supplied with unterminated 6.5’ (2m) four conductor cable with shield.

Impedance
The Astatic GN14-HL is a dual impedance microphone. The high impedance position is 10,000 ohms and the low impedance is 600 ohms. The low impedance position is recommended for long cable length requirements. Cable lengths of 30.5m (100ft.) or more can be used in this position without loss of level or deterioration of high frequency response.
Cable End Connections
High impedance: Connect the red lead to the audio input, the black lead and shield to ground, and the white and yellow to relay control
Low impedance: Connect cable leads red and black to balanced line input, shield to ground, white and yellow to relay control
